Support Congregations

VOLUNTEERS OF ALL FAITHS CHANGING LIVES

Since its founding, Family Promise of Sacramento has been supported through an interfaith network of congregations. 

SUPPORT CONGREGATIONS

Our Support Congregations provide the support best suited to their members' interests and availability. 
 

A Support Congregation team of volunteers may be involved with the following:

  • Cooking dinners for special occasions

  • Landscaping & gardening assistance

  • Preparing/cleaning a tiny home for a new family to move into

  • Collecting and donating supplies, gas and food gift cards, or financial support

MANAGEABLE COMMITMENT

  • Each congregation supports families for just one week, one to three times a year

  • Family Promise runs background checks on all staff, volunteers, and guests.
